Hi all, this STYLE ME FRIDAY is a bit different. The rules have changed a bit where we can re- create the look given by Ebony over at 'The Fashionista Next Door' any time during the week. Then when it's time to link up, we can. Get it? Any way, its the same concept, re creating the looks and having fun with it. I really like taking part in this because a few of you Bloggies found me via Style me Friday, and for that I am thankful. This link up also allows me to get inspiration and ideas on how to put outfits together for the future. Enough chatter eh?! Lets style :) Inspirations I really like Rihanna's look, also the all black look. I decided to try something a little different.  I went colorful super girly like the looks on the right. Can it please stop raining!! Now that its getting warmer, I want to rock my hair out and try different styles.  *sigh* Oh well, I just went for it. Rain or shine I was gonna get my flexi rod set ON. ~I co washed my hair with Suave Naturals Conditioner ~ De-tangled with Cantu leave in and a little Olive Oil (not pictured) ~ Applied African Pride curling pudding (New) & a little Olive oil Gel (not pictured) ~ Slept on it. OUCH The Next Day What do you think about the look? I happen to like the outcome very much, but surly may hair reverted in the rain :/ (next time I will use a size smaller than the orange rods for the back) (I had to blow dry the back a bit the next day) Check out the video down below :) Blessings J

Yesterday (Tuesday) the guy and I went to see Star Trek, which I didn't care for (but was surprisingly good!). Monday is errands day. Its the day I wake up late, drag myself out the bed and pay the bills...and shop, occasionally :) This is the simple outfit I wore :) YAY for Open Toes!! My hair is in a flat twist out held up lazily with a scarf, t shirt from K Mart,  Jeans from h&m, random flats and bag from Rainbow I woke up so confused today, I went to purchase boat ride tickets for a boat ride that passed already!  smh See you soon!!

Excited about this post because i'm really pleased at how creative I can be...sometimes The look for this week is the shorts suit or "shorts separates"  as Ebony (pictured) put it. Basically a pair of cute shorts, with a top/blouse and a sleek blazer. My hair is a fresh bantu-out, necklace and tank from h&m, "shorts" from Danice, shoes from random store down town Manhattan (I was actually trying to sell these...and still kinda am lol), scarf from random store and bag from Rainbow Now a little info on the shorts... Its actually a tube romper!! Was going to wear it as is for this post, but to be a little more creative I just tuck the top part in (you can't even tell huh?!) and voila, I got myself some cute shorts!! These Flats Not too sure about the special name for these, if any, but i'm really diggin these. they go with basically anything and perfect for spring. I was a babysitter for five years so I sorta, kinda...no I don't know how the half of it lol What I do know, its hard work raising kids and I'm not sure exactly how you do it...and some of you do it sooo damn well. Went to see Iron Man 3 (which was dope). I lurve me some Robert Downey Jr, yes, lurve! lol They had a post about him and his butt on Tumblr the other day. Lets just say "Yassss!" OK Anywayyyy... Always forget the name of this 'look out' off Montague street, but I love going there during the summer to hang out, read, people watch and of course take pics. The flowers almost look fake in these shots. I heart it! First day hair is a flat twist out, t shirt from Danice (fits amazing), Blazer is thrifted (actually a little boy's blazer!), Pants from Forever 21 (reminds me of nurse scrubs lol), flats from Tick Tock and bag from Forever21 What do you think of the outfit?
