I'm falling in love with the simplicity of leggings again. Leggings as pants was such a turnoff back in the day...it probably still is for some people, but I'm not one of them. My favorite features a cardigan from VIM $24.99. You can find similar styles everywhere.(shein, amazon) Bag from CISE  My mother's hat (that I never see her wear) came in clutch for this look. Some of the outfits I share on Instagram, I don't wear. That's just me playing in my closet and having a ball. I actually wore this outfit, but changed it up a bit. I think my style is a little boho mixed with street meets chic...boho,street,chic  I'm bout to murder this CISE bag whether I'm wearing red or not and I'm waiting patiently for the right time to start creasing them rose in harlems (the sneakers). Should I switch out the yellow lace to red?? I was considering giving my mom this oversized Amazon cardigan but humnnnn...the fit with this outfit was perfect.  I'm a monochrome girl at heart.  This cropped F21 sweatshirt (from 2 years ago) came in clutch with my target onzie. I opted for boots and a clutch from Burlington to seal in the look. What's good about this outfit is that you can pair it with slides, uggs, ankle boots, you name it. It just depends on the vibe you're going for!! Tell me, would you wear this look? Blessings, J

Hey Jay Readers. One place I shop for coats is Uniqlo. That's where I found this cool little number. I didn't really wear it yet but I will give a review when I do. It comes in tan(which I really wanted but didn't have my size), this grayish color and black, in store.  Uniqlo is like a hidden gem for coats and other cold weather clothing items. Im wearing a green cardigan from Primark i got last season (mens section) with my pebble leather Michael Kors crossbody. I love me a leggings look, but I make sure to double them, cause listen, its cold! My Toasty dunks will always be a favorite. Im considering buying another colorway.   My makeup came out really cute.  Jay Readers, it's club season, party season, holiday season, celebrating season... There is a party every weekend, even every day in NYC. I went to an appreciation party for Thanksgiving a week ago and I noticed that I wasn't feeling it. It didn't give the vibe and fun like it used to. Nope, it wasn't just that party, it was the same energy from the few I went before. Idk. Maybe those late night, dark, weed smelly, stand up all night parties are no longer a thing for this almost 40 y/o woman. Butttt, I do work on weekends so maybe that's why I'm not feeling that scene anymore. I'm tired! Gasps!! Blessings J

 Anna and her brother Michael was supposed to enjoy a fun filled Saturday at Target Wonderland, but because they were so smart to make the event for just 2 days...it was jammed packed so the kids didn't get in. Imo, this should be a week long event, but whatever...maybe next year God willing. With that being a flop, they had enough energy to walk over the Brooklyn Bridge which they hadn't done in a few years. So all in all, the whole day wasn't a loss. Shoutout to their father for taking them and snapping these lovely pics. Blessings J

Hi New Yorkers I know the beach waters are gross and all the news about sharks are scary...go to the beach. I was a bit hesitant since a shark attacked a woman so close to home (rockaway beach) but, Anna-Leah wanted to go...really bad. We jumped in the car, she, my mother and I and we made a day of it at Manhattan beach  We spent 3 hours burning in the sun and dipping in dirty sea water...and it was great!! Blessings J
