Did you attend Curlfest this year at Prospect Park? It was pretty cool for the little time I was there. I was alone this year pretty much but that didn't stop me from cruising around, snapping pics and enjoying the music. Decided to go to Kiddies Carnival instead of my original idea, Bryant Park (again). The Parade started literally 6 blocks away from my house. The weather was perfect for the little masqueraders to do their thing! Snapped a few pics. Vlog coming :) Representing  Her locs are Divine! Blessings J

Hi all its my Birthday Weekend!!! Virgos stand up :) 08.28.84 My actual Birthday was Friday. If you follow me on Instagram you already know. That day I hung out at Bryant park with Anna and my friend Reina again. This summer has bin going pretty good for Anna and I. I try my best to get out the house at least twice a week. It's gonna be cold soon and I don't want to be sitting in the house saying " I coulda" Yesterday we went to the Brooklyn Botanical Garden with a couple of my friends. By the way, Anna-Leah is 7 1/2 months already!! Time waits on no one video Blessings J

Ok now I'm completely jealous of all the people that attended this event. I really miss Trinidad today lol Events like this I love! It went down today 2.27.14.  All Inclusive on the beach- Maracas Bay from 2- 8pm There was also live entertainment!! Sounds like a dream The downside was the price $125 US ($750 TT) BUT it was probably well worth it! The bestie scored us tickets to the Wendy Williams Show!! We had such a good time, though we were late (which made us get back row seats) and the buildup before the show was longgg It felt like we were in a club. We got super hype. The dj was pumpin and Wendy looked great (better than on tv!) I wore my hair in a puff cause it was not co operating that morning. Jewelry and dress from h&m (belt Target), shoes Rainbow and clutch a gift from my aunt.  I feel like hitting up another talk show :D UPDATE: The show aired yesterday July 11th and I saw myself for a bit during the ' Ask Wendy' segment lol Happy Friday Blessings J I pray for Justice for Trayvon Martin

This past Saturday I went to a Birthday Party with my Clique ;) at the newly renovated Cafe Omar                 .                                                                           Brooklyn I've bin to Cafe several times before the renovation, and I have to say, I didn't see much of a difference :/ (Just color change and some sofas.) All in all, it was a great night out smell test lol I wanted to wear this dress for new years, but because my plans change I didn't. I had a little time on my hands the other day, so I decided to be creative. (apologies for the quality of pics. I used my new video cam. Key word 'video' J! smh Will know better for next time) I was inspired by this pack of letters I bought at Target earlier that day. 1. Draw out the letters  on regular printing paper. I used a permanent marker in black. 2. You can create a design if you want within the letters. I went with Zebra print for a couple letters...sort of  lol My colors of choice; black and pink. You use what's better for your decor 3. Apply glue on the back of each letter and stick it carefully onto glossy photo paper 4. When the glue dries, cut out the extra "parts" of the P, A ans Es. I used a box cutter. Be careful. I used a scissors to cut the rest. Then you're pretty much done! Glue/ stick letters any where you want :) Your room, kids room...Be creative.
