This summer has bin going pretty good for Anna and I. I try my best to get out the house at least twice a week. It's gonna be cold soon and I don't want to be sitting in the house saying " I coulda" Yesterday we went to the Brooklyn Botanical Garden with a couple of my friends. By the way, Anna-Leah is 7 1/2 months already!! Time waits on no one video Blessings J

Wow time has flown by since I last blogged and a few things have been going on...so let me update ya (Beyonce voice) Well most of you should know that I am pregnant!! Who me? Yes!! LOL I'm (almost) 23 weeks along. What a ride its bin thus far. My friends and family with kids say its just the beginning!? Say what now?? I had my 2nd trimester ultrasound a few days ago and it looks like ill be buying tons of pink! (no I won't) I'm having a girl :) I'm cool with the reveal and so is the boyfriend (he wanted a boy though, but its all good). I'M GONNA BE A MOM!! Ok ok. So I've bin rocking a Brazilian deep wave weave for over a week now. I love it (looks around for natural hair Nazis...) I finally found my groove with the hair and styling is a breeze. I purchased it from Aliexpress.com.  My birthday also passed on August 28th! I'm no longer in my 20's. Its unreal really. My cousin was visiting from Trinidad and I just kicked it with ...

Finally made it to Jones Beach this past Tuesday! I went with the Guy and his friend. The guy and I went to Joe's Shanghai this past Tuesday. The wait wasn't too long and the atmosphere was pretty chill and fun! I ordered the shrimp and chicken in plum sauce (#73) with white rice and red wine. My guy had white wine, soup and pork dumplings. He ate most of my food lol. It was surprisingly delish. I say that because it was something completely different for me and you know how that could go sometimes!! I wore my hair in a (sideshow bob ) puff lol, tank from Rainbow, skirt from Danice, MK bag and (last summer) flats from Rainbow. Had a great time! Watch my Vlog ;) Blessings J

The bestie scored us tickets to the Wendy Williams Show!! We had such a good time, though we were late (which made us get back row seats) and the buildup before the show was longgg It felt like we were in a club. We got super hype. The dj was pumpin and Wendy looked great (better than on tv!) I wore my hair in a puff cause it was not co operating that morning. I went to a pool party this past Sunday. It was pretty good, though the dj could have done more with his music selection.  Thing is, when we got to the Venue the pool was tiny!! like omg O_O I decided to wear my animal print tank from Danice together with my black high waist thrifted shorts . Finally got a chance to wear my cute wedge sandals from Rainbow and Hair is from a same night flat twist out I wonder if adding a little mousse while prepping my 'same night' hair is a good idea? Nerd glasses from Rainbow and earrings gifted...love it What would you rock to a pool party? ALSO, see you after the July 4th Holiday!! Be Safe Blessings J

So, yes I've bin sorta living in these pants. Why? Its crazy hot and this pants is so breathable. I am on the hunt for a couple more pairs. The guy and I went to see 'The Man of Steel'. Yo, I bin asking about this movie since last summer lol It did not disappoint; I love the way they re made it! Well, we also had pizza at a nice restaurant called Vapiano around the corner from the theater. I was impressed with the decor of the place and unique pay system they have (everyone gets a card, swipe when you order & pay at checkout). We didn't hang out long enough for me to give a full review. Maybe next time.  My ' Endless Nights' tank is from H&M (luv), jeans from Know Style, Strawberry flats and MK bag . Thursday was 90 degrees in NY. Oh Happy Day!! I loved it :D I went to the movies with my cousin for her birthday to watch The Hangover pt 3 . The first one was bomb dot com funny, the second one not so much, but they definitely redeem themselves with part three. It was funnay! As a last minute decision, we also saw Fast and the Furious 6. SUPER action packed, so if you like those kinda things (hott men driving fast cars and kicking ass) go see it! *wink* I wore floral shorts (really a romper that I tucked in) from Danice, top from Rainbow, gifted bag and flats from Vim. My hair is a flat twist-out & flexi rod set (confusing, I know), lips ''snob' by mac and nails 'Caribbean' by Ruby kisses Would you convert your romper into shorts? Blessings J
