I'm all about spur of the moment hair decisions, some better than others...this one, I don't know! I decided to get my hair braided (set it off style) at the African hair Salon. The process was quick and hassle free. Just what I wanted. A protective style that takes no time to achieve. I would admit, the look is still growing on me though. Video Blessings J

I know you have days like this where you just don't care really. You're not necessarily in a bad mood but like whatever you wear is not your business type days. lol Ya!  Well, that was me on Monday. The weather was awful and I was not up to finding a "nice" outfit so I went with whatever. Today I went to Forever21 for a scarf and some studs (jewelry...not men lol... my mind I tell ya!) The temperature is dropping quickly in NY so i'm getting prepared. The weather was mild for Halloween, but we won't be so lucky for Thanksgiving! This is what I wore. So I've bin waiting forever to wear this leggings from Forever 21. I found the perfect top to go with it at Forever as well (recent) at a steal price of 7.80. The catch? Yes there is one, the left sleeve is tighter than the right. *sigh*. Not sure if all are like that or if I was just "lucky" to pick the black sheep of the bunch. The guy and I went to Joe's Shanghai this past Tuesday. The wait wasn't too long and the atmosphere was pretty chill and fun! I ordered the shrimp and chicken in plum sauce (#73) with white rice and red wine. My guy had white wine, soup and pork dumplings. He ate most of my food lol. It was surprisingly delish. I say that because it was something completely different for me and you know how that could go sometimes!! I wore my hair in a (sideshow bob ) puff lol, tank from Rainbow, skirt from Danice, MK bag and (last summer) flats from Rainbow. Had a great time! Watch my Vlog ;) Blessings J

The bestie scored us tickets to the Wendy Williams Show!! We had such a good time, though we were late (which made us get back row seats) and the buildup before the show was longgg It felt like we were in a club. We got super hype. The dj was pumpin and Wendy looked great (better than on tv!) I wore my hair in a puff cause it was not co operating that morning. Jewelry and dress from h&m (belt Target), shoes Rainbow and clutch a gift from my aunt.  I feel like hitting up another talk show :D UPDATE: The show aired yesterday July 11th and I saw myself for a bit during the ' Ask Wendy' segment lol Happy Friday Blessings J I pray for Justice for Trayvon Martin

Did I mention that movie season is back?! I'm so happy that the Guy likes movie  time as much as I do. We even rate the ones we see together. Cheesy? Ya, whatever!! :) Any who, we went to see After Earth with Will and Jaden Smith. I try to watch every Will Smith movie (I Am Legend was my favorite) so I was all in with this movie choice. It was given very poor reviews, but I usually don't take those to heart. It was actually a pretty good flick! My Sangria before the movie was Ok. Not a big fan I wore my hair blown out (from flat twist out),  Top from Danice,  jeans ( my favorite, you know that by now right?) from Weekend, De Janeiro  flats and bag from Unique (a flea market type store in queens). Thursday was 90 degrees in NY. Oh Happy Day!! I loved it :D I went to the movies with my cousin for her birthday to watch The Hangover pt 3 . The first one was bomb dot com funny, the second one not so much, but they definitely redeem themselves with part three. It was funnay! As a last minute decision, we also saw Fast and the Furious 6. SUPER action packed, so if you like those kinda things (hott men driving fast cars and kicking ass) go see it! *wink* I wore floral shorts (really a romper that I tucked in) from Danice, top from Rainbow, gifted bag and flats from Vim. My hair is a flat twist-out & flexi rod set (confusing, I know), lips ''snob' by mac and nails 'Caribbean' by Ruby kisses Would you convert your romper into shorts? Blessings J

Yesterday (Tuesday) the guy and I went to see Star Trek, which I didn't care for (but was surprisingly good!). Nail Polish - Wild and Crazy 'Tu Tu' (bottom &) Top Coat- Wet n' Wild Wild Shine Mascara - New York Colors High Definition Volume Mascara (intense black) I love how subtle and fresh this nail polish looks. I'm not too familiar with the brand,  but sure it can be found in beauty supply stores. It was a gift from my cousin I was recommend this clear coat by my friend Kurzelle (she low key knows some great products!). I have bin using it ever since. It keeps the nails hard and dries pretty fast! This mascara is the bomb! Check out my demo & review video here . Another product ma gurl Kurzie recommend.
