Did I mention that movie season is back?! I'm so happy that the Guy likes movie  time as much as I do. We even rate the ones we see together. Cheesy? Ya, whatever!! :)

Any who, we went to see After Earth with Will and Jaden Smith. I try to watch every Will Smith movie (I Am Legend was my favorite) so I was all in with this movie choice. It was given very poor reviews, but I usually don't take those to heart. It was actually a pretty good flick!


My Sangria before the movie was Ok. Not a big fan



I wore my hair blown out (from flat twist out), Top from Danice, jeans ( my favorite, you know that by now right?) from Weekend, De Janeiro flats and bag from Unique (a flea market type store in queens). Lippie? 'Moody Blue' by NickaK



We had a late start so I had to take night pics...Ya, not the best

Excited about this post because i'm really pleased at how creative I can be...sometimes The look for this week is the shorts suit or "shorts separates"  as Ebony (pictured) put it. Basically a pair of cute shorts, with a top/blouse and a sleek blazer. My hair is a fresh bantu-out, necklace and tank from h&m, "shorts" from Danice, shoes from random store down town Manhattan (I was actually trying to sell these...and still kinda am lol), scarf from random store and bag from Rainbow Now a little info on the shorts... Big Chopped!

So yes I big chopped! I have about 1-2 inched of hair on my head right now and I gotta tell you, I'm loving it! LOL It was sort of a spur of the moment decision. I mean, I was thinking about it for a while (since I took out the crochet braids) but never thought I would do it. Then one night, in the middle of Prison Break I just went for it. Just. Like. That. That was November 1st. Well, since then I've bin doing twist outs with my usual products (blue magic leave in, almond oil), but I just purchased a new twist out product from the 'As I Am' brand. I heard good things about the line and can't wait to try it! It's all about healthy hair for me now. I'm not stressing it. No color (hopefully, cause I'm thinking of  blue black *sigh*) and definitely no heat. I want my hair to grow out healthy and strong; looking, feeling and being. If that makes sense.  I would be trying out different things like rod sets (if possible), straw sets, wash and go ...
