Pool Party Ready


I went to a pool party this past Sunday. It was pretty good, though
the dj could have done more with his music selection.
 Thing is, when we got to the Venue the pool was tiny!! like omg O_O



I decided to wear my animal print tank from Danice together
with my black high waist thrifted shorts. Finally got a chance to
wear my cute wedge sandals from Rainbow and Hair is from a
same night flat twist out



I wonder if adding a little mousse while prepping my 'same night' hair is a good idea?

    Love your hair! You know we don't go to pool parties to get in the pool, lol. I know for sure I don't, I am going to be cute and sit by the pool.

    Quite nice look for the pool party. I am impressed with the outfit. At one of the local party Venues in NYC my sister recently hosted end of summer pool party for entire family and her close friends. It was also fabulous. We all enjoyed a lot in this bash.

Excited about this post because i'm really pleased at how creative I can be...sometimes The look for this week is the shorts suit or "shorts separates"  as Ebony (pictured) put it. Basically a pair of cute shorts, with a top/blouse and a sleek blazer. Hit me Floral one more time!!

I wore this get up to visit my bestie today. All I knew was I wanted to wear this floral leggings from Danice and I based my outfit around it. My t shirt is from Danice, denim shirt from h&m, shoes from Vim and bag gifted.  Have a great weekend!! Blessings J

Big Chopped!

So yes I big chopped! I have about 1-2 inched of hair on my head right now and I gotta tell you, I'm loving it! LOL It was sort of a spur of the moment decision. I mean, I was thinking about it for a while (since I took out the crochet braids) but never thought I would do it. Then one night, in the middle of Prison Break I just went for it. Just. Like. That. That was November 1st. Well, since then I've bin doing twist outs with my usual products (blue magic leave in, almond oil), but I just purchased a new twist out product from the 'As I Am' brand. I heard good things about the line and can't wait to try it! It's all about healthy hair for me now. I'm not stressing it. No color (hopefully, cause I'm thinking of  blue black *sigh*) and definitely no heat. I want my hair to grow out healthy and strong; looking, feeling and being. If that makes sense.  I would be trying out different things like rod sets (if possible), straw sets, wash and go ...
