'Buffalo Exchange' REVIEW
Buffalo Exchange
109 Boerum Pl.
Brooklyn NY 11201

How it works
"...clothing and accessories are bought, sold and traded locally with store costumers Bring in your former favorites for trade or cash on the spot...inventory includes designer labels, vintage, jeans, leather, current basics and one-a-kind items"
What happened- MY experience
*Sigh* Mom and I went here hoping to get big bucks (at least $100) for our items. Nope. They were very picky with the items they took; looking at style, brand, color etc. (as sorta stated above)
I called in advance to find out what items they would accept. They go by trends and seasons mostly, so right now, sweaters, boots, coats etc.
We were able to get rid of only 4 items. Leather boots, dress pants, vintage skirt (they loved that one) and... hmmn, cant remember...or was it 3 items?!
Any way, they first told us the amount they would sell the items for and offered us a percentage of that price.
I remembered counting the amounts in my head that totaled about $80-90. OUR choices were $22 cash OR $37 store credit. Blah!!!! We took the cash.
Final words
I would say, the place is very well put together, clean, bright and inviting. They jewelry and shoes caught my eyes! The employees were bubbly, friendly and talkative.
My mom and I were disappointed with our cash exchange, so we would not be returning
My rating: 2.5/5
