DIY: Studded



Got these for $3.99 (3/ $10) @ Pretty Girl! STEAL!
(The sizes run small. I'm a size 8, but a 9 fit perfectly)
They say 'Forever 21' on the inside.....

Heard there are similar ones at H&M as well for around $10 each

 1. Ok. I used the studs off of this old belt to create a pattern on these kicks
You can find similar ones at a craft store


2. The studs are spiked at the back. I straighten them with the tip of a small scissors or my teeth (CAREFULLY) after I take them off the belt and placed em were I wanted them to be on the shoes.

3.  Be sure all 4 spikes go all the way through the fabric.
I used the tip of the scissors to carefully clamp them down :)


It took me about 2 hrs to complete
I wanted to add studs on the inside as well, but ran out.



 Gotta Love it!

Get studding!!

Excited about this post because i'm really pleased at how creative I can be...sometimes The look for this week is the shorts suit or "shorts separates"  as Ebony (pictured) put it. Basically a pair of cute shorts, with a top/blouse and a sleek blazer. My hair is a fresh bantu-out, necklace and tank from h&m, "shorts" from Danice, shoes from random store down town Manhattan (I was actually trying to sell these...and still kinda am lol), scarf from random store and bag from Rainbow Now a little info on the shorts... Big Chopped!

So yes I big chopped! I have about 1-2 inched of hair on my head right now and I gotta tell you, I'm loving it! LOL It was sort of a spur of the moment decision. I mean, I was thinking about it for a while (since I took out the crochet braids) but never thought I would do it. Then one night, in the middle of Prison Break I just went for it. Just. Like. That. That was November 1st. Well, since then I've bin doing twist outs with my usual products (blue magic leave in, almond oil), but I just purchased a new twist out product from the 'As I Am' brand. I heard good things about the line and can't wait to try it! It's all about healthy hair for me now. I'm not stressing it. No color (hopefully, cause I'm thinking of  blue black *sigh*) and definitely no heat. I want my hair to grow out healthy and strong; looking, feeling and being. If that makes sense.  I would be trying out different things like rod sets (if possible), straw sets, wash and go ...
