'Unique' Jewelry

I'm into rings and bracelets (bangles) this time around and my favorite place to shop for jewelry is randomly, on the street.

I go to 'my guys' on Court Street Brooklyn or to my friends at Unique on Jamaica ave, Jamaica ny.

I always browse around h&m's and Forever21's jewelry section as well

These are my latest jewelry pieces. In a couple years I will start investing in classic (real) gold and silver pieces. For now, these will do

    I like the gold bling cross bracelet and the love finger ring. Those are some really good prices. I think I need to check out the street vendors out here. :-)

Excited about this post because i'm really pleased at how creative I can be...sometimes The look for this week is the shorts suit or "shorts separates"  as Ebony (pictured) put it. Basically a pair of cute shorts, with a top/blouse and a sleek blazer. My hair is a fresh bantu-out, necklace and tank from h&m, "shorts" from Danice, shoes from random store down town Manhattan (I was actually trying to sell these...and still kinda am lol), scarf from random store and bag from Rainbow Now a little info on the shorts... Big Chopped!

So yes I big chopped! I have about 1-2 inched of hair on my head right now and I gotta tell you, I'm loving it! LOL It was sort of a spur of the moment decision. I mean, I was thinking about it for a while (since I took out the crochet braids) but never thought I would do it. Then one night, in the middle of Prison Break I just went for it. Just. Like. That. That was November 1st. Well, since then I've bin doing twist outs with my usual products (blue magic leave in, almond oil), but I just purchased a new twist out product from the 'As I Am' brand. I heard good things about the line and can't wait to try it! It's all about healthy hair for me now. I'm not stressing it. No color (hopefully, cause I'm thinking of  blue black *sigh*) and definitely no heat. I want my hair to grow out healthy and strong; looking, feeling and being. If that makes sense.  I would be trying out different things like rod sets (if possible), straw sets, wash and go ...
