Throwback~ Past Halloweens

Happy Halloween everyone. This year I would not be getting into character, so here are a few looks I wore over the past years.

Top left to bottom right



Tiger face- 2012 I didn't even go anywhere, I was just in the mood to play dress up. My little cousins loved it!

Pirate- 2010 I went to a boat ride with my cousin (pictured) and friends. It was silly. The boat was over crowded and didn't even move lol

I didn't know what I was  (bottom left)- 2006? The fit just came together last minute and I went with it. First Halloween boat ride and it was fun with my cousin (pictured) rip.

Base Baller- 2011 My 2nd time wear that costume. I went to a party at my neighborhood club lol

Excited about this post because i'm really pleased at how creative I can be...sometimes The look for this week is the shorts suit or "shorts separates"  as Ebony (pictured) put it. Basically a pair of cute shorts, with a top/blouse and a sleek blazer. My hair is a fresh bantu-out, necklace and tank from h&m, "shorts" from Danice, shoes from random store down town Manhattan (I was actually trying to sell these...and still kinda am lol), scarf from random store and bag from Rainbow Now a little info on the shorts... Its actually a tube romper!! Was going to wear it as is for this post, but to be a little more creative I just tuck the top part in (you can't even tell huh?!) and voila, I got myself some cute shorts!! Hit me Floral one more time!!

I wore this get up to visit my bestie today. All I knew was I wanted to wear this floral leggings from Danice and I based my outfit around it. My t shirt is from Danice, denim shirt from h&m, shoes from Vim and bag gifted.  Have a great weekend!! Blessings J

Big Chopped!

So yes I big chopped! I have about 1-2 inched of hair on my head right now and I gotta tell you, I'm loving it! LOL It was sort of a spur of the moment decision. I mean, I was thinking about it for a while (since I took out the crochet braids) but never thought I would do it. Then one night, in the middle of Prison Break I just went for it. Just. Like. That. That was November 1st. Well, since then I've bin doing twist outs with my usual products (blue magic leave in, almond oil), but I just purchased a new twist out product from the 'As I Am' brand. I heard good things about the line and can't wait to try it! It's all about healthy hair for me now. I'm not stressing it. No color (hopefully, cause I'm thinking of  blue black *sigh*) and definitely no heat. I want my hair to grow out healthy and strong; looking, feeling and being. If that makes sense.  I would be trying out different things like rod sets (if possible), straw sets, wash and go ...
