Mini Acorn Moccs

I came across Mini Acorn on Instagram and I immediately rushed to their website.
I've bin eyeing Freshly Picked moccs for a while now but was not ready to dish out the 40-50 bucks.
I read reviews on Acorn's Moccasins and was pleased. Also at that price, you can't go wrong.

Choosing a color was the hard part. I wanted gold, duh, but they were out of stock...duh. I went with rose red because matching with me (with my red converse) seemed dope.lol. Shipping was pretty decent and packaging was cute. Only thing (and this is my bad) I got a size two, hoping it would sorta fit now but be perfect for summer. Turns out its super big and might fit ok for summer. Eh I love to see bare feet babies anyway...who needs moccs?! Plus she has sweaty feet so it
might be for the best...till Fall I guess.

Well, the other day, I was determined she wore it tho HA! so I left some of the stuffing that came with the shoe inside and that's how she rocked it. It didnt look too bad.

Excited about this post because i'm really pleased at how creative I can be...sometimes The look for this week is the shorts suit or "shorts separates"  as Ebony (pictured) put it. Basically a pair of cute shorts, with a top/blouse and a sleek blazer. Big Chopped!

So yes I big chopped! I have about 1-2 inched of hair on my head right now and I gotta tell you, I'm loving it! LOL It was sort of a spur of the moment decision. I mean, I was thinking about it for a while (since I took out the crochet braids) but never thought I would do it. Then one night, in the middle of Prison Break I just went for it. Just. Like. That. That was November 1st. Well, since then I've bin doing twist outs with my usual products (blue magic leave in, almond oil), but I just purchased a new twist out product from the 'As I Am' brand. I heard good things about the line and can't wait to try it! It's all about healthy hair for me now. I'm not stressing it. No color (hopefully, cause I'm thinking of  blue black *sigh*) and definitely no heat. I want my hair to grow out healthy and strong; looking, feeling and being. If that makes sense.  I would be trying out different things like rod sets (if possible), straw sets, wash and go ...
