ONE~Reflect 2015 (pic heavy)

Happy New Year everyone!!

This is going to be a long one. I'm here to share all the highlights of my Holiday season. Hope you had a great one! Am I too late? nah! lol

First off  I spent Christmas with the people closest to me, my mom and Anna (my daughter). I was glad my mom was around being that she usually very busy. We spent the day cooking, eating, opening gifts and taking tons of pictures. Am I the only one that buys themselves a gift, wrap it and put it under the tree?? No? Ok good. This year I bought myself a pair of Timberland boots.






Kids are just so humble lol While opening her presents, all Anna was interested in was the gift paper, boxes and Christmas ornaments...toys who?? Gotta love 'em.

Anna's Birthday!!
December 27th
I would admit, i was a bit disappointed of how Anna's 1st birthday turned out.
The plan was to go to Build a Bear workshop in the City,
because of the weather and Anna not feeling too well, I changed plans
for everyone to meet at the house instead... Everyone cancelled. I didn't even hear
from some. All in all she spent it with the people she sees the most; me, my mom and
her father. It was quiet and not what I had planned, but it worked.

Excited about this post because i'm really pleased at how creative I can be...sometimes The look for this week is the shorts suit or "shorts separates"  as Ebony (pictured) put it. Basically a pair of cute shorts, with a top/blouse and a sleek blazer. My hair is a fresh bantu-out, necklace and tank from h&m, "shorts" from Danice, shoes from random store down town Manhattan (I was actually trying to sell these...and still kinda am lol), scarf from random store and bag from Rainbow Now a little info on the shorts... Big Chopped!

So yes I big chopped! I have about 1-2 inched of hair on my head right now and I gotta tell you, I'm loving it! LOL It was sort of a spur of the moment decision. I mean, I was thinking about it for a while (since I took out the crochet braids) but never thought I would do it. Then one night, in the middle of Prison Break I just went for it. Just. Like. That. That was November 1st. Well, since then I've bin doing twist outs with my usual products (blue magic leave in, almond oil), but I just purchased a new twist out product from the 'As I Am' brand. I heard good things about the line and can't wait to try it! It's all about healthy hair for me now. I'm not stressing it. No color (hopefully, cause I'm thinking of  blue black *sigh*) and definitely no heat. I want my hair to grow out healthy and strong; looking, feeling and being. If that makes sense.  I would be trying out different things like rod sets (if possible), straw sets, wash and go ...
