RE-DO: Blah Braceletes


                                       

These bangles/bracelets were about to go in the trash :/ I had them for such a long time and they got boring to me.


               I was inspired by a jewelry piece I saw on YouTube. The light bulb came on BRIGHT!!!



I pulled out my (aka my mom's) handy dandy acrylic paint and the rest is history.

Even if I get one wear out of them before the paint chips, it'll be cool!


Step 1


 I put tape on them they way I want the style to be.(sorry you cannot see well from the pics)
If your hands are not shaky, you don't need the tape


Step 2



Start painting. Adding coats of paint as needed. (Each coat dried pretty fast!)




All done!!





They are not perfect (I might clean 'em up a bit) but I really like them now. Look for them in future OUTFIT Posts :)

Excited about this post because i'm really pleased at how creative I can be...sometimes The look for this week is the shorts suit or "shorts separates"  as Ebony (pictured) put it. Basically a pair of cute shorts, with a top/blouse and a sleek blazer. Big Chopped!

So yes I big chopped! I have about 1-2 inched of hair on my head right now and I gotta tell you, I'm loving it! LOL It was sort of a spur of the moment decision. I mean, I was thinking about it for a while (since I took out the crochet braids) but never thought I would do it. Then one night, in the middle of Prison Break I just went for it. Just. Like. That. That was November 1st. Well, since then I've bin doing twist outs with my usual products (blue magic leave in, almond oil), but I just purchased a new twist out product from the 'As I Am' brand. I heard good things about the line and can't wait to try it! It's all about healthy hair for me now. I'm not stressing it. No color (hopefully, cause I'm thinking of  blue black *sigh*) and definitely no heat. I want my hair to grow out healthy and strong; looking, feeling and being.
