RE-DO: From Bag to Clutch!


This idea just came to me while searching through my bags.

This is not an Original Coach bag, calm down lol

 The camera is doing it justice I tell ya



The bag was old, dirty and I haven't used it in ages. Why not turn it into something that I would most definitely use?! A clutch!

Lets go

I carefully cut the bag up


 This re-do would not be possible with out my mom.
Here she is, hard at work!!

 Measuring the flap- 3.5"

 Steaming the edges down to get it flat and crisp!


Ta Dah!!!

Fasteners were added to clip the flap down
Gorgeous!!
Clutch, get ready to get beat!!

(there was also more material left over to make another clutch!!)

    I was just in my closet looking at two Coach purses I haven't touched in years, this is an awesome idea!!! Your mom should start a business re-purposing out of style designer bags.

Excited about this post because i'm really pleased at how creative I can be...sometimes The look for this week is the shorts suit or "shorts separates"  as Ebony (pictured) put it. Basically a pair of cute shorts, with a top/blouse and a sleek blazer. Hit me Floral one more time!!

I wore this get up to visit my bestie today. All I knew was I wanted to wear this floral leggings from Danice and I based my outfit around it. My t shirt is from Danice, denim shirt from h&m, shoes from Vim and bag gifted.  Have a great weekend!! Blessings J

Big Chopped!

So yes I big chopped! I have about 1-2 inched of hair on my head right now and I gotta tell you, I'm loving it! LOL It was sort of a spur of the moment decision. I mean, I was thinking about it for a while (since I took out the crochet braids) but never thought I would do it. Then one night, in the middle of Prison Break I just went for it. Just. Like. That. That was November 1st. Well, since then I've bin doing twist outs with my usual products (blue magic leave in, almond oil), but I just purchased a new twist out product from the 'As I Am' brand. I heard good things about the line and can't wait to try it! It's all about healthy hair for me now. I'm not stressing it. No color (hopefully, cause I'm thinking of  blue black *sigh*) and definitely no heat. I want my hair to grow out healthy and strong; looking, feeling and being. If that makes sense.  I would be trying out different things like rod sets (if possible), straw sets, wash and go ...
