HAIR: LONG "Senegalese Twists"

I went ahead and braided the hair from the root (quarter inch) and then proceed to twist. I braided from the root because it was much faster than twisting from the root.

My hair was freshly washed
I usedCreme of Nature leave in moistirizer- no oils
It took me 8 hrs - with help for about 3 hrs
I used about 6 packs- colors 1b, 2, 4
I'm 5' 5"



Dipped in Boiling water


 Let out


Like, why not go super long?? :)

Excited about this post because i'm really pleased at how creative I can be...sometimes The look for this week is the shorts suit or "shorts separates"  as Ebony (pictured) put it. Basically a pair of cute shorts, with a top/blouse and a sleek blazer. Hit me Floral one more time!!

Big Chopped!

So yes I big chopped! I have about 1-2 inched of hair on my head right now and I gotta tell you, I'm loving it! LOL It was sort of a spur of the moment decision. I mean, I was thinking about it for a while (since I took out the crochet braids) but never thought I would do it. Then one night, in the middle of Prison Break I just went for it. Just. Like. That. That was November 1st. Well, since then I've bin doing twist outs with my usual products (blue magic leave in, almond oil), but I just purchased a new twist out product from the 'As I Am' brand. I heard good things about the line and can't wait to try it! It's all about healthy hair for me now. I'm not stressing it. No color (hopefully, cause I'm thinking of  blue black *sigh*) and definitely no heat. I want my hair to grow out healthy and strong; looking, feeling and being.
