HAIR: 3 simple protective looks - short/medium length natural hair

This is my go to protective style when all else fails; two strand twists!



I came up with 3 very simple styles that you can do if your hair is in twists and you have to make a quick (or not so quick) run somewhere

One: Flat twist both sides and pin where needed




Two: Put twist in pony tail, tie scarf (optional) and tuck from twist under




Three: Pull front twists in opposite direction (to give flare lol), put twists in pony tail and wrap scarf around




Mac: 'Up the Amp' on lips

Excited about this post because i'm really pleased at how creative I can be...sometimes The look for this week is the shorts suit or "shorts separates"  as Ebony (pictured) put it. Basically a pair of cute shorts, with a top/blouse and a sleek blazer. Hit me Floral one more time!!

I wore this get up to visit my bestie today. All I knew was I wanted to wear this floral leggings from Danice and I based my outfit around it. My t shirt is from Danice, denim shirt from h&m, shoes from Vim and bag gifted.  Have a great weekend!! Blessings J

Big Chopped!

So yes I big chopped! I have about 1-2 inched of hair on my head right now and I gotta tell you, I'm loving it! LOL It was sort of a spur of the moment decision. I mean, I was thinking about it for a while (since I took out the crochet braids) but never thought I would do it. Then one night, in the middle of Prison Break I just went for it. Just. Like. That. That was November 1st. Well, since then I've bin doing twist outs with my usual products (blue magic leave in, almond oil), but I just purchased a new twist out product from the 'As I Am' brand. I heard good things about the line and can't wait to try it! It's all about healthy hair for me now. I'm not stressing it. No color (hopefully, cause I'm thinking of  blue black *sigh*) and definitely no heat. I want my hair to grow out healthy and strong; looking, feeling and being.
