HAIR: Flat-Twist Protective Hairstyle

This was sorta spur of the moment lol

TIPS
Be sure you're in the mood to do your hair
Be patient & have at least 2 hrs to spear
Have an extra mirror at hand
Don't think too much about it, you can always tweak it when finished
You CAN do it yourself :)

 I used Do- Grow Medicated grease and a little gel

 Right side

I twisted the remaining loose hair in the middle



That's how the left side looked at first. After, I took 3 flat twist out and made single twists

The back- hair down



I pinned up the back a bit


Friday- 3 days later, I took the twists out



Of coursed it frizzed a bit. I added a little gel

Excited about this post because i'm really pleased at how creative I can be...sometimes The look for this week is the shorts suit or "shorts separates"  as Ebony (pictured) put it. Basically a pair of cute shorts, with a top/blouse and a sleek blazer. Hit me Floral one more time!!

Big Chopped!

So yes I big chopped! I have about 1-2 inched of hair on my head right now and I gotta tell you, I'm loving it! LOL It was sort of a spur of the moment decision. I mean, I was thinking about it for a while (since I took out the crochet braids) but never thought I would do it. Then one night, in the middle of Prison Break I just went for it. Just. Like. That. That was November 1st. Well, since then I've bin doing twist outs with my usual products (blue magic leave in, almond oil), but I just purchased a new twist out product from the 'As I Am' brand. I heard good things about the line and can't wait to try it! It's all about healthy hair for me now. I'm not stressing it. No color (hopefully, cause I'm thinking of  blue black *sigh*) and definitely no heat. I want my hair to grow out healthy and strong; looking, feeling and being. If that makes sense.  I would be trying out different things like rod sets (if possible), straw sets, wash and go ...
